Brent Gruetzmacher
Owner & Funeral Director
Brent was born in Suring, Wisconsin and graduated from Suring High School with the Class of 1997. He went on to attend UW-Oshkosh and Worsham College of Mortuary Science where he obtained an Associate's Degree and also became a Licensed Funeral Director in 2000. Brent has been employed by Gruetzmacher Funeral Home & Cremation Services since 1995 and took ownership of Gruetzmacher Funeral Home & Cremation Services in 2016. Brent is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association. He lives in Suring, Wisconsin with his wife Kimberly and their two boys.
Mandalyn Christensen
Licensed Funeral Director
Mandalyn was raised in Gillett, Wisconsin and graduated from eAchieve Academy, based in Waukesha, with the Class of 2016. She went on to attend Indian Hills Community College where she earned her Associates Degrees. After graduating from Indian Hills, she attended Des Moines Area Community College and received a Mortuary Science - Advanced Standing diploma in October 2019. In August 2020, Mandalyn became a licensed funeral director. Mandalyn has been employed by Gruetzmacher Funeral Home & Cremation Services since September 2015. She lives in Suring with her husband, Jonathan Christensen, and son, Asher.
Bruce Hansen
Funeral Assistant
Bruce was born in Suring, Wisconsin and graduated from Suring High School. He served in the United States Air Force for four years and the U.S. Army Reserves for seven years. Bruce worked at Evenflo in Suring for 20 years, volunteered as an EMT for 10 years, and retired as a truck driver from Schneider. He began working at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home & Cremation Services in 2014 and also drives veterans to VA Hospitals for their appointments. Bruce lives in Gillett, Wisconsin with his wife, Lois.
Butch Jossie
Retired - Funeral Assistant
Butch was raised in Suring, Wisconsin and graduated from Suring High School. He worked as a merchant marine for two years, worked road construction in Chicago for three years, and began working at Schneider in 1967, retiring after 30 years. Butch began working at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home & Cremation Services in 2001 and lives in Suring, Wisconsin with his wife, Pat.
Ray Gruetzmacher
Founder/Funeral Director (1949 - 2018)
Ray purchased Soulek Funeral Home in 1983, and renamed it Gruetzmacher Funeral Home. He retired in 2016, and passed away in 2018. His legacy continues to live on through his son, Brent.
