The Soulek family started the funeral home in 1941. Ray Gruetzmacher came to work for the Soulek family in 1975. In 1983, Ray purchased the Soulek Funeral Home and renamed it Gruetzmacher Funeral Home. Ray transitioned the funeral home to his son, Brent, in 2016 after working together for twenty years. Brent continues to offer the highest level of personal service.
